ISOGUARD™
This is the latest addition to our hands hygiene programme.
ISOGUARD is an antimicrobial preparation for fast, long lasting, scrubless, brushless and waterless surgical disinfection and protection of the hands. It has been tested in accordance with the SABS method 1597-1994 and shown to have bactericidal activity for at least 4 hours at 99.9% kill rate on Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Candida albicans (in vitro). Chlorhexidine gluconate is encapsulated in a proprietary cross polymers delivery protective system which ensures that natural respiration and perspiration of the skin is maintained without loss of natural oils and moisturizers whilst delivering the chlorhexidine in a most efficient manner. This allows ISOGUARD to be formulated with much less chlorhexidine than the usual chlorhexidine based hand scrubs. The delivery system have remarkable skin conditioning and repellence properties which allow frequent effective hand rinses with water without affecting the bactericidal properties and preventing also the all too frequent dry and cracked skin.
Active principle: Chlorhexidine Digluconate 1%.
Usage: Critical hygiene hands preparation. Application according to aseptic technique. Time before hands should be gloved: 2 minutes.
Sectors: Anytime, anywhere gloved procedures are envisaged.
