ISOSCRUB™
This product is ready to use.
ISOSCRUB is an antimicrobial preparation for pre-operative surgical hand disinfection and the antiseptic hand washing on the ward. It has been tested in accordance with the SABS method 1597-1994 and shown to perform a log reduction superior to 8 on Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa suspension containing 107 germs / ml in one minute. The active biocide is 2 % Chlorhexidine Gluconate.
DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
For external use only.
Pre-operative surgical hand disinfection
Wet the hands and forearms, apply 5 mL of ISOCRUB and wash for one minute cleaning the fingernails with a brush or scraper. Rinse, apply a further 5 mL of ISOSCRUB and continue washing for a further two minutes. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
Antiseptic hand wash on the ward
Wet the hands and forearms, apply 5 mL of ISOSCRUB and wash for one minute. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
