  • Early detection of subclinical mastitis.

  • Systematic monitoring of udder health especially after calving and before drying-off,

  • Regular monitoring of suspect quarters

  • Evaluation of udder health before sale or purchase of animal,

  • Macroscopic inspection of milk (clots) on side of the cup,

  • Monitoring of cleaning chemical concentration in the milking system,

Advantages

Fast, simple measurement of the foremilk sample, using small sample volume,
Exact values through digital display, no subjective influence by the milker,
No additional chemicals necessary,
Direct relationship of conductivity value with outset of infection,
Direct indication of mastitis-suspect quarters,
Memory holds the conductivity values of one udder (four measurements),
Simple operation thanks to automatic calibration,
No battery replacement necessary, the Mast O Test V.2 is powered by a lithium battery sufficient to giver 50 000 readings +.
